Upcoming real estate seminars aim to educate

North Star Home Lending will host the free, semi-monthly, 10-part “Everything you Always Wanted to Know About Today’s Mortgage Market, but Were Afraid to Ask” real estate series, featuring prominent industry experts.

Each seminar will feature a 60-minute presentation, followed by a 30-minute question and answer period, on such topics as how to qualify for a mortgage, where are home values going, how to lower your property taxes, getting the most out of your home, and specialized financing for renovation, investment, second home purchases and more. North Star Home Lending mortgage specialists will also be on hand to assist with any mortgage questions.

“We have been proud to support our community,” North Star Home Lending President Bruce Rosenblat said.  “We feel that it is important to provide current and potential homeowners the ability speak with and learn from experts.”

The seminar series kicks off at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, at 31780 Telegraph Road, Suite 150, in Bingham Farms, with “How to Qualify for a Mortgage.” The next seminar, “The Benefits of Government Lending,” is at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, at 23300 Goddard Road in Taylor. Refreshments will be available.

The seminar series continues on the first and second Thursday of each month with a new topic at locations across metro Detroit. For additional information and/or to RSVP, contact North Star Home Lending at (248) 594-9300 or (313) 827-0990, or info@northstarhomelending.com.
